Dizzion is seeking a Content Marketing Manager to join its growing team! This role will be key in building and executing our overall content strategy to drive brand awareness, thought leadership and lead generation. The Content Marketing Manager will be adept at creating content that is optimized to channel, persona, and stage of the funnel and will manage a strategy to leverage our content across paid, earned, and owned mediums. As Dizzion grows, this individual will be foundational in creating and curating the Dizzion story as it is presented to internal and external stakeholders. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, this individual will interact closely with our product, sales, sales engineering, HR and executive leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a content marketing strategy that supports organizational goals from the top to the bottom of the marketing and sales funnel including acquiring customers, educating prospects, generating leads, growing website traffic, and capturing industry mind share.
  • Write, write, write! Create and edit digital and print content with a unique voice and consistent style that captures hearts and minds across many formats, including web, data sheets, white papers, company blog, bylined articles, reports, customer case studies, presentations, video, training materials, etc.
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar that appeals to buyer personas and aligns with key campaigns, product announcements, events, etc.
  • Assess and edit existing content as necessary for brand and message consistency and clarity, and offer informed recommendations on how to improve it so it resonates better with each customer audience.
  • Create standard procedures for the planning, execution, optimization, distribution and amplification of the organization’s content.
  • Manage a collaborative content creation process with in-house experts across our technical teams.
  • Understand technical product features and be able to convert that information into written and visual content that is easy to understand, engaging and highly informative.
  • Assist with the creation of media and press materials as necessary.
  • Monitor and report on content marketing metrics and show continuous improvement of the content strategy based on analytics.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 4+ years’ experience in multi-channel content creation and distribution with increasing responsibility. Versed in both strategy and execution when it comes to content.
  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, PR, English, communications, or related field.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, cloud services, security, storage, or IT infrastructure fields highly desired.
  • Exceptional writing skills and command of the English language.
  • A creative marketing mind and clear communicator who can connect the dots across various marketing initiatives.
  • Proven experience in cross-channel content marketing and content optimization, with a portfolio to prove it.
  • Skilled in digital strategies, social, and search marketing; and the ability to interpret analytics.
  • Must have the ability to understand IT concepts, communicate with a technical audience and collaborate with technical Dizzion team members.
  • Strong project management; detail-oriented and highly organized; proactive.
  • Ability to manage and collaborate effectively with external vendor partners.
  • Results-focused, team-oriented, and able to lead through influence.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office suite and Adobe Creative Suite; Marketo and WordPress experience are a highly desired.
  • Ability and willingness to pitch in on marketing projects that are not content-focused as needed such as events, demand generation, and strategic planning. We are a small, yet growing, organization and we all wear multiple hats!
