Our ideal Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) is someone who is motivated by the challenge of breaking software and is passionate about being part of a team that delivers high quality applications.  We are looking for someone with a strong automation background specifically with UI and Web Services.  The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills that will allow them to work closely with Developers and Product owners.

• Develop new automated tests as well as maintain existing ones
  
• Assist in the design and development of automation frameworks
  
• Track testing status and provide defect/bug reports
  
• Interface and interact with Developers to resolve problems identified in feature testing and quality assurance regarding software correctness and compliance with established product use and test cases and configuration rules
  
• Work with Product owners and Developers to translate business requirements and functional specifications into test plans and test scripts
  
• Work with a team of 7 Developers to ensure high quality of current and new features being developed
  
• Thrive in an agile environment
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
  
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and tools
  
• 3+ years experience in automation development and testing in a product development environment
  
• Working knowledge using design patterns with automation scripts
  
• Experience with defect, test cases and source code management tools
  
• API testing experience is preferred
  
• Knowledge and experience using Object Oriented programming concepts
  
• Strong knowledge and experience of using automation tools for both UI and Web Services
  

• Strong knowledge of Agile or Scrum development methodologies
  
• Working knowledge in HTML/CSS/Javascript
  
• Working knowledge of RESTful Web Services
  
• Experience Developing test plans for UI and regression testing
