PopSockets is seeking a dynamic and creative Email and SMS Marketing Coordinator to join our marketing team. The Email and SMS Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing email and SMS marketing campaigns to engage and retain our audience, drive customer acquisition, and increase brand awareness. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams to achieve marketing objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop Email and SMS Marketing Strategies: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop comprehensive email and SMS marketing strategies aligned with business goals and target audience preferences.
  • Content Creation: Support the build-out of non-campaign assets within a content creation tool such as Figma, Canva, or Photoshop. Where possible, leverage drag & drop editors to customize campaigns as needed.
  • Segmentation and Targeting: Segment email and SMS subscriber lists based on demographics, behaviors, and preferences to deliver personalized and relevant content that drives conversions
  • A/B Testing: Conduct A/B testing on email subject lines, email and SMS content, and calls-to-action to optimize performance across channels and improve key metrics.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of email and SMS marketing campaigns using key metrics and KPIs. Identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization and growth.
  • Operational Efficiency: Improve processes for sending email and SMS touch points across multiple regions, ensuring adherence to local guidelines and regulations.
  • Lifecycle Focus: Identify opportunities for new lifecycle campaigns and/or tests to existing to optimize those programs and provide additional revenue to Popsockets. Create prioritized lists and help facilitate project plan across stakeholders to get new flows live.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, merchandising/product, and development to coordinate campaign timelines, messaging, and goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Digital Marketing, or related field
  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in email marketing, SMS marketing, or digital marketing focused role(s)
  • Proficiency in email marketing platforms (Klaviyo preferred) and SMS marketing platforms (Attentive preferred)
  • Familiarity with complex business models spanning multiple continents and countries, with many language and currency considerations
  • Experience with marketing analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Power BI, Looker, or similar)
  • Knowledge of email deliverability best practices, segmentation strategies, and A/B testing methodologies
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
