Job Duties and Responsibilities
DISH Wireless is looking for a Senior RF Engineer to support our national team. Engineers will report to the National Senior RF Engineering Manager and work with other cross functional teams within the market.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
- Spearhead RF design activities for the inaugural standalone 5G broadband network, prioritizing small cell design.
- Conduct Monte Carlo analysis to evaluate network capacity, ensuring robust performance.
- Drive determination of equipment and power configurations for optimal efficiency.
- Lead in-building coverage enhancements, including intricate DAS deployments.
- Collaborate with RF Management and Technology teams to refine design criteria and enhance performance parameters continually.
- Provide expert training, mentorship, and project leadership, leveraging scripting languages like Python, Java, and PowerShell.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
As a successful Senior RF Small Cell Design Engineer, you will have:
Education and Experience:
- BSEE/BSCS degree (MScEE preferred) with 5+ years of wireless experience.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in 3G/4G/5G and NR theory with practical experience.
- Experience in macro and small cell RF designs, including RF KPIs and link budgets.
- Familiarity with EME and FCC reports, iBwave tool, and propagation modeling.
- Full proficiency in LTE and 5G design and optimization equipment and software.
- Expertise in drive test data post-processing, frequency planning, and equipment co-location requirements.
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $158,125.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
