Ever wanted to have your own personal assistant? Of course you have, who hasn't? You're in luck. Favor, an Austin-based startup, is bringing their on-demand personal assistant service to Denver today.

Think of the service like Uber, only instead of someone coming to pick you up, someone will come to drop something off. Basically, the service connects customers to people who will run errands for them.

Say you're in Cheeseman Park on a beautiful, sunny Sunday and you’ve just realized how hungry you are. You don't want to leave the park, as it's the only sunny Sunday we've had in months. Instead you can pick up your iPhone or Android and open the Favor app. A game of frisbee later somebody in a baby-blue tuxedo t-shirt will show up with some sushi.

The service isn’t limited to food, and you can have almost anything delivered. Spill coffee on your shirt before a big meeting? You can have a new one delivered to your office. Need to have a prescription filled? There's no longer a need to wait in a long line at CVS. Unfortunately, and this was my first thought as well, the service does not deliver alcohol at the moment.

As the company just launched in Denver today, service is only available near downtown. Oddly though, it's not available in Highlands. So far you can use Favor from the Platt River to Colorado Boulevard and from I-70 in the north to I-25 in the south. You can find a map here. The service will operate from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. daily.

Having been founded in June of 2013, Favor is a young company growing quickly. The company employs over a thousand people in seven cities. Other than Denver, you can use the service in Austin, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio. Soon, the company plans to launch in Washington DC, Indianapolis and Miami as well.

If you want to try out the service you can use the promo code "MILEHIGH" to have your first delivery fee of $6 waived.

Favor closed a $13M Series A funding in March, helping them scale nationally and compete with established players in the delivery market. S3 Ventures led the round, which included participation from previous investors Silverton Partners, Tim Draper and some other angels. They currently have 35 fulltime corporate employees and around 40 Denver 'runners.'
