The Role: 

Carrot Fertility Inc. is looking for an Accounts payable clerk to join our Accounting team that is organized and meticulous. The duties of the accounts payable clerk include processing and auditing invoices, managing transactions on corporate cards—both virtual and physical—as well as handling travel and employee reimbursements. This position is critical to making sure that our company's accounts are maintained current, vendors are paid on time, and confidential information is handled with integrity. The position will be part of a developing Accounting team, with an opportunity to build and improve processes with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness. The Accounting team is fully remote and paperless, utilizing cloud-based software.

The Team: 

Carrot’s Accounting team is a strong, dedicated group with a focus on continuous improvement. We are looking for a candidate to expand the Accounts payable function and support Carrot’s growth.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Familiarity with Accounting software, Netsuite highly preferred but not required.
  • Must protect organization values by keeping information confidential.
  • Strong organizational ability and a self-starter
  • Excellent attention to detail, professional attitude, reliability and a team player
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to consistently meet all deadlines
  • Comfortable working remotely 
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS in Accounting
  • 3-5 years of Accounts Payable experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite products (Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.)
  • Proficiency in cloud-based software, (Brex, Zip, Bil.com, Expensify, etc.)
  • Knowledge of preparing end-of-year 1099’s 

Compensation: 

Carrot offers a holistic Total Rewards package designed to support our employees in all aspects of their life inside and outside of work, including health and wellness benefits, retirement savings plans, short- and long-term incentives, parental leave, family-forming assistance, and a competitive compensation package. The starting base salary for this position will range from $65,000.00 - $75,000.00. Actual compensation may vary from posted base salary depending on your confirmed job-related skills and experience.
