Oversee and optimize the Amazon strategy, manage forecasts, advertising, inventory, brand protection, and collaborate across teams to drive growth.
We are seeking an experienced Amazon Channel Manager to oversee and optimize our Amazon strategy, working closely with our Amazon agency and internal teams. This role requires strong project management skills, cross-functional collaboration, and a deep understanding of Amazon operations, forecasting, advertising, inventory management, and brand protection. This position reports to the Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer.
Key Responsibilities
Amazon Strategy & Agency Collaboration:
- Lead weekly calls with our Amazon agency, ensuring alignment on key initiatives and performance goals.
- Oversee key programs, including Subscribe & Save, customer acquisition, and advertising strategy.
- Monitor and optimize key performance metrics to drive growth and efficiency.
- Work with internal teams and our Amazon agency to implement special marketing initiatives and high-visibility placements.
Inventory & Fulfillment:
- Review and manage Amazon sales forecasts to ensure accurate inventory planning.
- Approve and oversee inventory order requests from our Amazon agency.
- Manage the Amazon inventory ordering process and ensure timely fulfillment through our 3PL warehouse system.
- Streamline the shipment approval process to improve efficiency and maintain optimal stock levels.
- Develop and execute a strategy for managing third-party seller inventory and branded product transitions.
Brand Protection & Compliance:
- Oversee the implementation of brand protection initiatives, such as Amazon Transparency.
- Work cross-functionally to combat unauthorized third-party resellers and protect brand integrity.
Advertising & Promotions:
- Partner with internal teams to analyze customer profitability and plan promotional strategies, including major events like Prime Day.
- Work with Marketing to manage creative assets for Amazon listings and storefront updates, ensuring alignment with advertising and marketing goals.
- Maintain and optimize ad creative resources for seamless execution across campaigns.
Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years of experience managing Amazon accounts, preferably within an e-commerce or CPG brand.
- Strong understanding of Amazon Seller Central, FBA, forecasting, advertising, and brand protection programs.
- Experience working with external agencies and cross-functional teams to execute strategic initiatives.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive decision-making.
- Highly organized with strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in tools like Amazon Brand Analytics, Helium 10, or similar.
Salary: $120,000 annually
Location: Remote or Hybrid, Utah preferred
