Gogo is seeking a thoughtful, collaborative, and high-energy problem solver CONTRACT Program Manager – Business Transformation. You will lead cross-functional teams through the end-to-end delivery of projects and programs, ensuring that Gogo’s teams, processes, and enterprise systems are aligned to the desired organizational future state.

How will you make a difference?

Proactively manage all aspects of a project/program through the project life cycle project planning, monitoring and controlling through execution, and project closure

Provide leadership and coordination with cross-functional teams to coordinate companywide resources and ensure that the scope of all projects supports strategic business objectives

Facilitate the planning, estimating, detailed scheduling, critical path analysis and maintain a baselined schedule through project/program execution

Ensure adherence to AS9100 organization quality system requirements

Enable Core and Cross-functional team meetings to facilitate inter-departmental communication and effective collaboration to ensure successful project delivery

Identify key stakeholders, understand their expectations, and execute effective communication plans.

Tailor messaging to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization – from individual contributors to the executive leadership team

Implement project management best practices to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the overall project objectives

Develop and communicate risk mitigation and contingency plans for key program risks with project stakeholders
-
Assist in collaborative negotiations with project participants and stakeholders to drive alignment on addressing significant issues before they impact the project

Optimize project delivery within our Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to continuously deliver value to our customers

Share your perspective, experience, and lessons learned to challenge the status quo and continually improve the project management discipline at Gogo

Be curious – learn beyond your domain to better understand Gogo ’s products, technology, and customers
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field or equivalent work experience
-
5+ years of program management in controlling execution of projects or programs tied to business integration, M&A (mergers and acquisitions), or business transformation
-
3+ years of vendor management experience
-
Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification
-
12-month availability on site, in the Broomfield, Colorado office 5 days a week
Required Experience, Skills and Talents

Proficiency with the following toolsets/systems: Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project/Smartsheet

Ability to establish credibility and trust with key stakeholders and project teams to effectively lead through influence

Practical problem solving and critical thinking skills with excellent judgment and attention to detail

Demonstrated resourcefulness to explore creative solutions to eliminate potential project and program roadblocks

Superior discernment skills; know which competing task takes priority at a given time

Experience managing concurrent development initiatives across organizations

Superb collaboration and communication skills with all levels of stakeholders, both internal and external

Must possess managerial courage; demonstrate confidence with a data-driven approach to managing risks and making decisions that will impact project execution and organizational objectives

Experience developing and delivering presentations to senior leadership
Preferred Experience, Skills and Talents

Experience with the integration or migration of: Enterprise Systems tooling, ERP tooling/systems (e.g. Business Central, etc.), CRM tooling/systems (e.g. Salesforce, etc.) and/or Billing tooling/systems (e.g. Mindsparx, etc.)

Has worked with Agile Development methodology, including SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)

Experience with wireless communications, data communications and/or the aviation industry

Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., Telecom, aviation, automotive, medical devices, etc.)
