Description

Maverc Technologies is seeking a Compliance and Cybersecurity Specialist responsible for managing and ensuring adherence to government regulations and industry standards. This position entails preparing for, testing, and monitoring compliance with regulations including DIBCAC, DFARS, and CMMC. The successful candidate will possess experience in regulatory compliance, internal audits, and risk assessments, and will also serve as a liaison for regulatory agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • CMMC 2.0 Readiness: Lead efforts to assess and prepare for CMMC 2.0 assessment readiness.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with NIST SP 800-171, DIBCAC, DFARS, CMMC, and other US government regulations.
  • Internal Operations & Controls: Evaluate internal operations, controls, communications, and risk assessments related to regulatory compliance.
  • Documentation Maintenance: Oversee the creation, maintenance, and refinement of policies, standards, procedures, and agreements for compliance.
  • Audit Facilitation: Conduct and facilitate internal and external audits, advising the organization on actions to be taken.
  • Regulatory Agency Interaction: Serve as a point of contact for interactions with regulatory agencies on specific matters.
  • Problem-Solving & Analysis: Apply company policies and procedures to resolve compliance-related issues and manage moderately complex problems.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Regularly monitor compliance to ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
  • Collaboration & Guidance: Provide guidance to teams on compliance issues and regulatory actions.
Requirements
  • CMMC 2.0 Assessment Readiness: Expertise in preparing for CMMC 2.0 assessments.
  • NIST SP 800-171 Knowledge: Strong understanding of NIST SP 800-171 requirements and best practices.
  • US Citizenship: US citizenship is required for this position.
  • US Government Compliance: Deep knowledge of US government compliance regulations (DFARS, DIBCAC, CMMC).

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

  • Cybersecurity Compliance Training: Experience with cybersecurity compliance training programs.
  • Documentation & Publishing: Experience in the development, publication, and refinement of policies, standards, procedures, and agreements.
