The Industry Account Manager is responsible for consulting at an executive level with clients to enable them to understand the business benefits of Rockwell Automation solutions for their company. You are responsible for developing and growing relationships with existing clients in delivering the highest level of customer value to ensure high client satisfaction.

This is a hybrid position based in Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma or Texas and will report to our Industry Sales Manager, Process.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and execute an account strategy to help clients achieve their business outcomes and grow sales for all assigned accounts
  • Establish executive level relationships with clients and offer solutions to help customers achieve their desired business outcomes
  • Articulate IIOT/Digital Transformation strategy with clients
  • Coordinate and communicate with expanded partner ecosystem including the services, solutions, system integrator, OEM, EPC, and distributor organizations.
  • Provide application knowledge, Consumer Goods Industry expertise and manage sales activities appropriately.
  • Qualify clients opportunities, engage the appropriate resources, and lead the strategy to deliver a proposal and solution to achieve client’s business outcomes
  • Maintain accurate assessment of target and opportunity funnel within the Dynamics Customer Relationship Management system.
  • Appropriately apply policies and procedures in compliance with government laws. Policies and procedures include, but not limited to: Standards of Business Conduct, Intellectual Property, Control Environment, Information Protection, ISO 9000 & 14000, government regulations (e.g. health, safety, quality and environmental).

The Essentials - You Will Have:  

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years' experience
  • Ability to travel up to 40%
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in at Technology Field. Additional business-related degree/experience preferred. 
  • 3+ years of prior experience in technology or manufacturing industries 
  • Applied experience in one or more areas related to selling control/information solutions into our target industries, or supporting same, and/or production/process engineering experience, manufacturing operations experience or similar work 
  • Industry Experience: Oil &Gas and/or Chemical 
  • IOT / IIOT / Software / Annual Recurring Revenue-Subscription model type of experience including customer success organizations
  • Working knowledge of Industry 4.0 and Internet of Things technologies

Our benefits for the US can be found here. The total target compensation range for this role in  is $139,440k to $174,300 of which 60% is base salary and 40% is variable. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
