Internal Programs Manager

General Purpose of the Job

The Internal Programs Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of programs and projects in close collaboration with business partners and stakeholders, team members, and various IT functions. This role is responsible for large strategic programs consisting of multiple projects that support the ongoing development & evolution of the IT organization.

 

The role assumes responsibility for all aspects of successfully delivering the agreed scope of work – from strategic planning and stakeholder alignment to development of materials and execution of events & activities that help achieve overall objectives.

 

The ITPM will also be responsible for proactively identifying opportunities for technology innovation in program development & delivery, including the use of AI to streamline our efforts and improve outcomes.

 

Operationally, the Internal Programs Manager will provide process leadership and support others in structuring projects and communications, and consult and lead in process improvements. The Internal Programs Manager is an integral role, expected to be fluent in products/services being developed, and make recommendations to the leadership team for collaborative decision-making on overall approach.   

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Program Management and Overview:

  • Strategically leads, plans, schedules, tracks and manages program deliverables and other successes; adjusts program plans and resource to meet changing requirements and needs

  • Act as a key contact for stakeholders and business partners; acting as liaison to understand program demands and work with leadership to create appropriate plans and communications

  • Directing project deliveries within the scope of the overall program

  • Develop and execute stakeholder management plan and ensures compliance structures in place

  • Executes program obligations, ensuring adherence to schedules, plans and preparing operational and program directives.

Executive Reporting and Communication:

  • Manage and execute communication plans to ensure notifications and updates

  • Delivers presentations to executives and other audiences 

  • Point of contact with senior management to assure program status, resolution of problems and managing efforts to assure corrective actions

Education and Experience

  • 4-6 years' experience in internal programs

  • Bachelor's Degree required

Specialized Experience, Education, Training, or Qualifications

  • M365 & Microsoft Teams/ Office Suite - Cloud Collaboration Tools

  • Working knowledge of AI toolsets for communications development

  • SurveyMonkey, MailChimp

  • Video production & design (preferred)

  • Graphic design / Adobe Suite (preferred)

Salary/ Wage Range

$91,000.00 - $133,700.00 / year

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
