Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Asset Management Analyst I to join our team. The role will focus on software asset management, ensuring compliance, optimizing software usage, and managing software licenses. This role requires attention to details, analytics skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The ideal candidate will support our IT asset management team in tracking, managing, and optimizing our software assets throughout their lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the organization's IT assets, ensuring accuracy and completeness of asset information
- Conduct regular audits and inventory of IT assets to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track IT asset usage, inventory, and compliance
- Analyze and resolve IT asset-related issues and discrepancies
- Collaborate with IT teams and customers to ensure accurate tracking and management of IT assets
- Develop and implement processes and procedures for IT asset management
- Provide training and support to IT staff on IT asset management best practices
- Maintain currency with industry trends and best practices in IT asset management, furthering awareness of licensing models and understanding
- Complete daily software requests tasks within ITAM tool (ServiceNow)
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree and 1-2 years' work experience in IT or relevant field or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with IT asset management industry and tools is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills combined with a customer service mentality
- Proficiency in IT Asset Management software (e.g., ServiceNow, Flexera, etc)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Knowledge of ITIL and IT Asset Management best practices
- Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM) Foundation certification
- Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM) certification
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $50580 - $85950
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
