JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Description: IT Financial Analyst

  • Responsible for all things procurement:
    • Monitor PR requests  -  Review IT SharePoint site daily. New requests should be reviewed and submitted within 24 hrs.
    • Review Contracts – Confirm contract amount matches PR (purchase requisition) request. Follow up with requester with discrepancies.
    • Copies of Contracts – Save executed contracts to Vendor Contract folder.
    • Review IT Budget – Confirm PR is part of IT budget. If not part of budget follow up with requester. Confirm GL and project coding is accurate.
    • Track PR requests - From submission in Oracle to creation of PO#. Follow up with procurement buyer for status update.
    • Communicate PO# with requester and IT Finance team.
    • Log PO# on PR request IT SharePoint and Contract Renewal Dates file.
    • Submitting new supplier requests – Work with vendor to obtain the necessary documents to submit to AP.
  • Responsible for Timesheet Compliance
    • Send weekly timesheet reports to IT team.
    • Follow-up on resources who have not submitted timesheets and/or approved.
  • Responsible for consolidating project financials files:
    • Load actuals to individual project financial files from GL Rpt, confirm balances to GL Rpt.
    • Review and consolidate project files. Meet with PMs to review any discrepancies.
    • Review disputes logged by PMs and remedy the action to be taken
    • Review and submit monthly project accruals & reclasses JEs prior to month end close deadline.
  • Prepare monthly monthend journal entries (reclasses, accruals, misc project uploads). Review GL once all posted and confirm accuracy.
  • Prepare adhoc reporting or presentation requests from management team as needed.
  • Assist with researching invoice payment status as needed.
  • Assist with the yearly budget preparations.
  • Monitor and respond to MS Outlook email requests daily.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and best practices in Finance, Procurement and Project Management.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in IT, Finance and Procurement with 4-8 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of both finance and IT principles
  • Intermediate experience in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Word
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, ServiceNow)

Compensation Range:

$7.25 - $161,000.00

Compensation Frequency:

Annual

Base pay offered may vary depending on actual location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Supplemental pay types may include commissions or bonus incentives, depending on the role.
