The Role
ONYX has seen significant growth in our key accounts with some of the major OEM & IPP’s across the US market recently. We are now looking to grow our Sales & Account Management team to enable us to support our customers and ensure they receive the highest standard of service delivery.
In this role the successful candidate will work alongside our technical and commercial leads to develop existing customer relationships, and identify opportunities to extend the scope of these partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop clear, concise account development plans
- Maintain a systematic cadence of contact with key stakeholders in nominated accounts
- Develop the scope of our commercial partnerships with existing accounts
- Develop opportunities to achieve annual financial targets
- Prepare, submit and progress to close high quality proposal documents
- Drive the delivery programme for nominated accounts
- Identify risks to service delivery, escalating where appropriate
- Act as visible, primary point of contact for customers
- Respond effectively to day-to-day operational and commercial issues
- Co-ordinate internal resources effectively
- Continually support necessary fulfilment operations of nominated accounts
- Ensure key account contacts are exposed to ONYX events (conferences, webinars etc)
- Maintain accurate data in ONYX & Clients’ systems
- Maintain and improve the current process on PO/invoice logistics with Clients (with the support from operation teams)
Ideally you’ll have/be able to:
- Redline and understand contracts
- Knowledge of programme management techniques and tools
- Write proposals and complete project costing/revenue forms
- Develop strong relationships across commercial accounts
- Collaborate effectively internally within ONYX
- Excellent communication skills, internally & externally
- A diplomatic and assured personal style
- Travel as needed
- Be an advocate for safety and safe ways of working
- Evidence agility, innovation & collaboration in approach to the role
- Wind Industry Experience
- Experience in software project delivery a plus
