Summary/Objective
The Lifecycle Marketing Manager will drive the strategy, execution, optimization, and reporting of our full funnel lifecycle program. This role will be a key partner to the broader Name.com Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Agency teams. This person should thrive in environments with high cross-functional collaboration and be comfortable working in a fast paced company with a global footprint. Success in this role means raising consideration and conversion of Name.com products.
This role reports to the Sr. Director of Marketing at Name.com.
What You'll Do

  • Lead and execute lifecycle marketing strategies across the marketing funnel, including: consideration, conversion, onboarding, retention, and upselling
  • Analyze customer data and behavior to identify trends and insights that can inform retention strategies
  • Develop a quarterly lifecycle experimentation roadmap to systematically test into new customer growth opportunities
  • Develop and partner with product marketing to execute customer retention strategies and initiatives to increase customer loyalty and reduce churn rates
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners in marketing, sales, product, support & operations, and finance to effectively scale Name.com's lifecycle program
  • Manage our agency partnerships, providing copy review, business context, legal review, general feedback, and more
  • Build ad hoc lifecycle marketing campaigns based on the needs of the business as they arise
  • Optimize existing automated lifecycle programs, including but not limited to abandoned cart, onboarding, upgrades, and winback
  • Cultivate a deep understanding of the Name.com customer lifecycle journey through journey mapping, flow auditing, and more
  • Monitor and report out on campaign and program performance, while owning measurement, tracking accuracy, and KPI definition
  • Other duties as assigned


Who You Are / What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, English, Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, or equivalent experience
  • 5-7 years of experience leading full funnel lifecycle initiatives at a consumer or eCommerce brand
  • Experience with modern CRM platform such as Klayvio and a track record of leveraging those tools to create successful lifecycle campaigns
  • High attention to detail, ability to project manage multiple priorities with excellent follow-through
  • Exceptional writing skills
  • Results-driven with ability to assess performance data and gather insights to help inform recommendations for future campaigns
  • Self-starter with ability to execute with limited supervision
  • Experience working with and managing agencies, contractors and budgets.
  • Ability to work across time zones as part of a global organization
  • Ability to travel as needed


Salary Range
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $83,000 - $106,500, plus benefits as described below. In addition, the successful candidate will be eligible to receive other compensation from time to time in the form of discretionary and/or nondiscretionary bonuses and long-term incentive plan. Actual compensation will be influenced by a candidate's qualifications, internal employee equity considerations, and location. We will not ask for information about a candidate's current or past compensation for purposes of developing an offer of employment.
US team members (and their spouses, domestic partners, and/or dependent children) are covered by generously subsidized medical, dental, and vision insurance which includes company contributions to a Health Savings Accounts. Team members are also covered by company-paid life and disability insurance and have the option of participating in employee-paid supplemental life, accidental death and dismemberment, critical illness, and accident insurance. In addition, team members can enroll in the company's 401(k) plan with up to a 5% match. You receive 15 days of paid vacation yearly, increasing to 20 days after one year. Additionally, you get 5 days of paid sick leave, 13 paid holidays, and 20 weeks of paid parental leave for birthing parents, 12 weeks for others. Also, there's an opportunity for tuition reimbursement for qualifying expenses.
