In July 2024, Harvest Hosts acquired Escapees RV Club, one of the most established and respected RV clubs in North America, founded in 1978. Escapees is a membership-based organization dedicated to supporting RVers through community-building, education, and resources. Their offerings include a network of RV parks, mail forwarding services, a robust events calendar, and educational programs like RVers Boot Camp. This acquisition broadens Harvest Hosts’ ability to serve RVers, blending Escapees’ strong community focus with Harvest Hosts’ commitment to unique camping experiences and small business support.

The Marketing Coordinator will report to the Director of Brand Marketing and support key initiatives across email marketing, affiliate and influencer partnerships, organic social media, and creative execution. This hands-on role will be essential in driving brand awareness, engagement, and member growth across Harvest Hosts and its family of brands, including Boondockers Welcome, Escapees, Brit Stops, CampScanner, and Searchforsites.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to support a dynamic marketing team. They should be comfortable wearing multiple hats—from building emails and communicating with partners to creating social content or simple Canva designs. This is an excellent role for someone looking to grow their marketing career while contributing to a fast-paced, mission-driven team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following general areas:

Affiliate and Influencer Support:

  • Manage day-to-day communication with affiliate partners and influencers.
  • Assist in onboarding new partners that align with brand goals.
  • Track affiliate performance, organize assets, and ensure timely delivery of content and communications.
  • Collaborate on campaign ideas and promotions to maximize partner impact.
     

Email Marketing Support:

  • Build and schedule marketing emails using our email platform.
  • Assist with QA, segmentation, A/B testing, and basic performance tracking.
  • Support the lifecycle team in building email journeys and automated campaigns.
     

Organic Social Media & Content Support:

  • Assist with content planning and calendar development for social channels.
  • Draft, schedule, and publish posts using our social media tools as needed.
  • Monitor engagement and trends across platforms and compile performance recaps.
  • Support influencer and user-generated content integration on social platforms.
     

Creative Execution & Asset Management:

  • Design simple graphics for social, email, or internal needs using Canva (training available).
  • Assist in organizing marketing assets and ensuring brand consistency.
  • Work closely with the creative team to request, deliver, or update brand materials.
     

Cross-Departmental Collaboration:

  • Partner with the growth and lifecycle teams to support campaigns and promotions.
  • Assist in marketing support for partnerships, events, or community engagement.
  • Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and project completion.
     

Other Duties:

  • Take initiative to improve processes and documentation.
  • Jump in where needed to support broader brand and marketing efforts.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field (internships or relevant project experience considered).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Customer.IO, Mailchimp, or similar) preferred, but not required.
  • Experience with affiliate or influencer marketing is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) and content creation.
  • Comfortable using or learning design tools like Canva.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  • A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and take initiative.

Compensation: Harvest Hosts is a venture-backed company. Compensation will be based on experience but will range from $48,000-$55,000 annually..
