JOB SCOPE
Supports the data and business analysis needs of Network Operations. Utilizes understanding of both business process and intermediate technical capabilities of industry standard tools used to provide analytical insights. Possesses intermediate knowledge in the business unit(s) they support, as well as, an intermediate level understanding of the Network Operations organization's systems and capabilities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES

  • Optimize network performance through the application of statistical analysis using a complex set of key data points.
  • Provides business analysis and support for Network Operations: Generate sometimes complex ad hoc reports along with creation and presentation of quality dashboards that provide operational visibility to the business unit(s).
  • Develops high quality graphs, reports, and presentations of data results. Perform statistical analyses for Network Operations business unit(s).
    Analyzes business partner's operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to automate processes and functions.
  • Translates high level business requirements into functional specifications for the Network Operations organization and manages changes to such specifications.
  • Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns in sometimes complex data sets. Present standard data sets and information in an understandable and compelling manner.
  • Performs special projects as needed and other duties as requested by supervisor.
  • Works on multiple projects as a project team member, occasionally as a project leader.


BASIC / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in intermediate data query techniques and report building
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Access
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience with SQL and industry-specific database systems
  • Minimum two (2) years report building toolsets such as Crystal Reports, etc.


REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Exhibit exceptional and professional communication, both written and oral
  • Professional and courteous demeanor with ability to excel in a team oriented environment
  • Advanced ability to manage time effectively, set priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and detail-oriented aptitude; a high degree of accuracy is required
  • Advanced ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner
  • Ability to learn and adapt to change


PREFERRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Network Operations experience a plus
  • Technical expertise regarding data models and database design development.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in sometimes complex data sets
  • Programming skills preferred.


WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Office Environment, some travel

The base pay for this position generally is between
$67,100.00 and $107,300.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
