Job Description:

   

HPE continues to develop innovative products and services that anticipate and meet the needs of our customers at a global scale. As we expand our private cloud portfolio, we are in search of an experienced product manager to define and execute the strategy to extend our private cloud capabilities to the edge. The ideal candidate will be customer centric, results focused, and have a passion for finding creative and innovative ways to solve real business problems for our customers. We are looking for highly skilled and analytical individual with a proven ability to envision and breathe life into the full lifecycle of a product, from conception to release, as well as a confident leader who can guide cross-functional teams in the creation of products that deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the HPE Private Cloud Enterprise strategy to deliver managed private cloud capabilities at the edge

  • Drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, and product launch

  • Create product strategy positioning and documentation that describe private cloud edge business value, high-level use cases, technical requirements, and customer experience

  • Analyze market data to inform sales strategies, and define product objectives for effective sales enablement and marketing communications

  • Collaborate closely with engineering, services, marketing, and sales teams in the development and release of edge products and serves

  • Partner with the broader Private Cloud product management organization to enable edge capabilities across our full portfolio of private cloud offerings

  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates our edge capabilities in the market

Required skills and qualifications

  • Strong experience in a dynamic product management role

  • Proven success in overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle

  • High effectiveness in collaborating with cross-functional teams

  • Experience in delivering finely tuned product strategies

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in product design or engineering

  • Previous experience in software and/or web development

  • Proven success as a product manager/developer

The expected salary/wage range for a U.S.-based hire filling this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. USD Annual Salary: $148,000.00 - $340,500.00
