Job Description

• Delivering and maintaining our modern data, analytics, and decisioning platforms;

• Working with platform and analytics engineering to enable self-service data movement and access patterns.

• Supporting the usage of the Data Lake by engineering distributed systems, frameworks, and design patterns;

• Scripting in Scala, Java, or Python to utilize Hadoop/Spark to collect and manage data at scale;

• Building, monitoring, and maintaining data ETL pipelines including providing 24/7 support for a one-week period on a rotating basis;

• Utilizing data pipelines to form a set of processes to move data from a source or multiple sources into a database such as a data warehouse;

• Assisting in managing and automating Data Governance and Data Security Standards and administering and maintaining data infrastructure;

• Mentoring junior data engineers in data principles and best practices;

• Shaping data analytics to gain improved insights from data, solve complex problems, and extract insights from structured and unstructured data;

• Supporting capabilities with Platform Analytics teams.

This position may also telecommute from any location within the United States. 

Minimum Qualifications

• Knowledge of Scala.

• Knowledge of Python.

• Knowledge of Databricks.

• Knowledge of Snowflake.

• Knowledge of Kinesis.

• Knowledge of Amazon Web Services.

• Knowledge of Apache Airflow.

• Knowledge of Spark Structured Query Lang. 

• Knowledge of Spark.

Salary (Annual): $174,000.00 – $184,000.00

Worksite Address: 1801 California Street, Suite 400, Denver, CO 80202, position may also telecommute from any location in the United States.

Hours of work: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, position provides 24/7 support for a one week per month on a rotating basis.
