Job Duties and Responsibilities
Boost Mobile is looking for a Manager, Retail Store Builds to manage retail store builds including new, remodels and relocations for Boost Mobile Indirect stores.
This role will play a pivotal role in overseeing the construction and development of our retail stores across designated regions. This position requires a unique blend of project management expertise, construction knowledge, and ownership of the design strategy and execution. You will manage a team of project managers and oversee new builds, remodels, and relocations to ensure alignment with our brand and customer experience objectives, while spearheading innovative store design strategies that enhance our market presence. Additionally, a strong background in wireless distribution knowledge is crucial to effectively navigate the complexities of the wireless industry.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
- Provide leadership to project managers for retail store builds, ensuring projects meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Own the Merchandising stores design strategy, collaborating with design teams to develop innovative, customer-centric store layouts.
- Manage vendor relationships, including sourcing, negotiating contracts, and ensuring vendors meet project requirements.
- Evaluate potential retail locations in partnership to the real estate teams, conducting site visits and feasibility assessments.
- Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, implement quality control measures, and manage project timelines and risks effectively.
- Oversee the installation process, including photos, signage, and fixture profiles, and manage inventory and replacement part requests.
- A Boost ambassador mindset, representing the brand identity while leading the partners on the projects. Strong advocacy to the department, no problem saying "No" to any different direction or partner during the projects.
- Detailed oriented attitude, documenting key steps during the process on each of the projects assigned.
- Communication skills in order to keep the Dealers on the schedule.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- 7+ years of Retail Store experience with build-outs or similar role
- Project management experience is highly desired
- Print Production; experience in Retail Merchandising materials a plus
- Store Design experience is a plus
Skills and Qualifications:
- Leading a team of project managers in the design & construction process of building out retail stores
- Subject matter expert in the concept & ideation of in-store elements and effectively implementing policies to deliver and maintain
- Effectively manage a considerable number of store builds at one time
- Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with challenging timelines and multiple projects running simultaneously
- A collaborator who works well with other internal departments (i.e. Real Estate, Channel Expansion, Brand, Creative, and Sales Operations)
- Take initiative and make suggestions to improve processes & reduce costs
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
- Knowledge of Google Suite and Gmail
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $83,950.00/Year - $119,900.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
