A career in our Workday Project Leadership practice, within Workday Consulting services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients leverage Workday technology as a tool to enhance and unify Human Resources, talent management, and finance. We focus on understanding the forces shaping their business and developing industry tailored solutions that support our clients through the entire lifecycle of the Workday implementation. In joining, you'll be a part of a team that helps our clients successfully recognize value through the delivery of Workday programs and projects. Project leaders participate across different areas of a projects governance model partnering with their respective client counterparts to ensure a successful deployment.

6 year(s) of Workday project management experience
Certification(s) Required:
Workday Services functional certification and/or Engagement Manager certification
Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred Fields of Study:
Business Administration/Management, Human Resources Management, Accounting & Finance, Management Information Systems, Organizational Management
Certification(s) Preferred:
Workday Engagement Manager (EM/PM) certification and related functional certification(s)
Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
Demonstrates extensive-level, abilities and/or a proven record of success with managing the identification and addressing of client needs:

  • Leading enterprise-wide transformation efforts by directing and managing activities across multiple work streams and initiatives to a defined scope and budget;
  • Providing recommendations based on leading practices and relevant industry experience;
  • Working across business (i.e., Finance/ Accounting or Human Resources) and technology stakeholders;
  • Leveraging functional knowledge and industry-standard methodologies, tools and approaches;
  • Collaborating, communicating and presenting across all levels of leadership and stakeholder groups to drive strategic direction and accountability for large global teams;
  • Developing integrated project plans and managing cross-functional dependencies;
  • Monitoring project risks, identifying gaps and recommending areas for improvement;
  • Leading workstream level project managers;
  • Utilizing creative problem-solving to devise solutions and drive execution;
  • Managing program budgets to monitor forecast and actuals;
  • Possessing an individual commitment to continuous improvement through innovation and simplification;
  • Identifies and addresses client needs while building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement;
  • Communicating value propositions; managing resource requirements, project workflow;
  • Preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials;
  • Participating and leading client discussions and meetings;
  • Managing engagements or dedicated workstreams, including preparing concise, accurate documents and maintaining project economics while maintaining flexibility for unanticipated issues;
  • Supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust and seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation;
  • Answering questions and providing direction to less-experienced staff; and,
  • Coaching staff including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback.
